2020 Year in Review
What a year!
2020 has probably been one of the strangest years we have seen.
After a relatively normal few months, spring brought about a huge amount of uncertainty in all areas of our lives. Lockdown causing us all to spend a lot more time indoors than we ever thought we would. Perhaps you, like us, spent more time thinking about the environment, how our actions can affect others and how we can make the most of what we have around us to improve our lives now.
Despite all the changes and restrictions across the country, as businesses, we were doing our best to fulfil contracts, provide services and, as the restrictions eased, help to bring a semblance of normality to our lives. We want to say an extra thank you to all our customers who patiently waiting during the delays caused by lockdown, and for their continued support during the year.
Following government guidelines and keeping our staff safe while at work became a priority, but in face of all this Trusted Energy fitted a record number of heat pumps over the year and our turnover showed a growth of roughly 20%. Our staff levels grew in line with this, with 3 more engineers and 2 more office staff.
We also began installing battery storage with our solar PV installs, allowing you to store the energy and power generated by the panels, for use overnight and to top up any grid power you use. Have you had one of our batteries installed? Please let us know how you have benefited by these.
